Singapore is undeniably a first world country.
its citizens?
still pretty much third world.
judging from some responses over the recent events at AWARE, the nominations of the arts NMPs,
its just disheartening to know that such people are in existence here.
Maybe Singapore developed too quickly, leaving its citizens behind.
way way behind.
talk about having justice and equality?
maybe not when people judge and discriminate those who tend to be 'different'
i really applaud the recent pinkdot event
it is only but small step but i believe the ramifications can be massive
in pinkdot's words,
it is not about being gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered (GLBT), but it is all about the freedom to love.
the freedom to love whoever you want to and not be judged
love is a basic necessity and no one should deny you this right.
