i managed to take a breather the other day
with a taxi ride down the ECP, all the way to Joo Chiat
looking at the singapore skyline and
hoping that i'd be working in one of those buildings in a few years' time,
and looking at the upcoming IR,
i thought to myself that Singapore really did think ahead of its own time.

i remember when i was younger, maybe say 10-ish,
my dad would bring me to marina south every sunday for the arcade over there,
and we'd pass by this huge vacant lot of land everytime.
and i'd ask "what're they doing here?"
"some future project" my dad would reply.

this is the plot of land where the building of the IR is in progress now.
prognosis of the future eh?

nothing unusual
nothing strange
just a little older,
that's all
