Singfest 08

Going for the recently held Singfest was not only awesome for me but somehow some of the songs sang on the both nights spoke volumes that night.

maybe it was just the speakers
maybe it was the atmosphere
maybe it was the people.

i knew lyrics were powerful, but never that powerful.

airport woes

do you have that feeling of getting away everytime you step into the airport?

i do.

the feeling that you wished you were one of those people checking in their luggages and going thru immigration?

i always do.

i've concluded that the reasons why you should be there are because
1] you are the one traveling
and
2] you are sending off someone who means a lot to you.

which are basically the obvious reasons why people are there in the first place.

i can tell that i'm just blabbering because i've felt this after-feeling many times.
i can sense its familiarity growing within me
but it isn't something in which i wouldn't want to recognize.

i wanna sell my samsung u700!
coz i already got a new phone... heh.
just got it sent for a paintjob and an upgrade of its software, so basically is almost brand new!
its still under warranty, till end Jan 2009.
everything else is also included, ie the USB cable, the box ( if u want ) and the ear piece!

trying to have it gone at $250, but its definitely negotiable!

this week has been rather fulfilling in terms of fun.
ha.
i guess i've never partied and drank so much in a week!

it began with readysetglo at zouk on sat


then the occasional jugs of beer on monday and tues with my bosses

and then it was mambo on wed with my loves and at the same time, i bumped into my secondary school mates.
it was just so nice seeing them after me disappearing for awhile
and the fact that it was my first time seeing them party.
heh heh.

lets do it again soon!

friday was ben's movie premiere of the 'spirit compendium' which was too profound for me i guess, with all the chinese mantra and some of the chinese religious stuff going on.
i don't exactly understand the sayings but they do speak volumes.
nonetheless even if you're in the same shoes as me,
catch it for the male lead - ben! :)
